I recently stayed at this hotel nestled inside a stunning mountain landscape. The room was impressively spacious and offered a beautiful view from the balcony. Yet, the dining options weren't particularly memorable, and the onsen experience felt underwhelming. Access to the hotel was a bit tricky, and I did miss having shops nearby for convenience.

Rooms

I found the service to be good, but there weren't many additional amenities or activities in the hotel.
Location

The hotel's setting inside the mountain offers breathtaking views, but getting there is a challenge and there are no shops in the vicinity.
Dining

The breakfast and dinner buffet were just okay, not much variety and nothing stood out as special.
Facilities

While the building is well-designed, the onsen facilities felt quite standard and lacking excitement.

The hotel is a mixed bag. While the room is spacious and has a great view, the onsen experience and dining options left much to be desired. It's not easy to access the hotel, but being surrounded by nature has its perks. Overall, I wouldn't say it's a standout option, but it does have some redeeming qualities.

I had a mixed experience at this onsen hotel. The rooms were impressive and spacious, with a lovely view from the balcony, but the dining options left a lot to be desired. The location is quite remote, making it hard to access shops, which was a downside. Overall, it was a decent stay but not without its drawbacks.

Staying at this hotel was quite an interesting experience. It's uniquely situated inside an extinct volcano crater, which gives it a stunning backdrop. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but the dining options left something to be desired, especially the breakfast buffet. While the onsen was modern, I found it a bit bland. Overall, the hotel has its perks but lacks a bit in variety and excitement.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, with a tatami enclave that added a nice touch. I found the bed comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, though it was only heating until May.
Service
7.0
The service was efficient, but there wasn’t much of a personal touch. Other than a gift shop and some items to borrow for sports, there were no additional services offered.
Location
6.0
The location is unique, inside the volcano crater, but access can be a bit tricky, especially since there are no shops nearby. It’s a bit remote, which might not suit everyone.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was a letdown, especially the breakfast and dinner buffets which had limited selection and weren’t very flavorful. I hoped for more variety and excitement.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, including a modern onsen, but I wished there were more engaging activities available at the hotel.
